WSLMRADIO.COM unveiled another community service this morning with its’ new WSLM PUMP PATROL page.
“Our listeners are looking for the best gas prices around,” said WSLM Owner and General Manager Rebecca White. “I want to make sure they’re getting that information quickly and accurately and so I decided that’s something I want to be a source for.”
WSLM listeners and news readers can obtain three different bits of information from the new page – Lowest prices in 15 different areas in the WSLM Listening Area, price trends for Indiana and an interactive map that shows gas stations and their current price.
WSLM PUMP PATROL shows the lowest gas prices in Charlestown, Clarksville, Floyds Knobs, French Lick, Henryville, Jeffersonville, Mitchell, New Albany, Orleans, Palmyra, Paoli, Salem, Scottsburg, Sellersburg and Seymour.
“These prices update every 10 minutes, giving our listeners up to date information,” said White.
Also, the trending price history around Indiana shows prices for today’s date, yesterday’s date as well as data from a week, month and year ago.
The interactive map allows you to search around the WSLM LISTENING AREA for the cheapest gas prices.
“This map shows live gas prices anywhere around the region and state,” said White. “I think we’ve assembled some really great information here that will help you save money. You can also report gas prices in your area!”
