Senators Headed For Semi-State at Seymour

The West Washington Senators defeated Wood Memorial Saturday night in their first-ever Class A Regional Title Win, 63-50.

Bloomfield has made six trips to the Regionals and last made it to the semi-state in 1998, when they played Terre Haute.  The Cardinals have made 31 trips to sectionals since 1928.

The Senators will advance to the Semi-State round on Saturday, March 19 at Seymour.

West Washington will be playing the Bloomfield Cardinals (25-3)

Admission is $8.

The Class 3A Semi-State will be played at Seymour at 6p with Tri-West Hendricks (22-6) vs. Evansville Bosse (18-10).

Class 2A | Fort Wayne Canterbury (16-10) vs. Lapel (24-4) | 3 pm ET

Lafayette Jefferson
Class 3A | Griffith (25-3) vs. Marion (21-7) | 4 pm ET / 3 pm CT
Class 4A | Warsaw (25-1) vs. McCutcheon (27-3) | 6 pm ET

Richmond
Class 2A | Indianapolis Howe (22-7) vs. Providence (19-7) | 1 pm ET
Class 4A | Southport (22-6) vs. New Albany (25-1) | 3 pm ET

 

WSLM will provide coverage of the game with the pre-game show beginning at 3:30p on WSLM 1220 AM and 97.9 FM.

Should the Senators advance, the Class A State Championship Game will be played at 10:30 am on Saturday, March 26.
