More People Arrested for Dope by Sellersburg Troopers

Since last Thursday, troopers from the Indiana State Police Post at Sellersburg arrested five more people on drug related charges after traffic stops and other investigations.

In one stop, that occurred on Thursday, at South Green Mill Road near US #150 in Hardinsburg, K-9 “Riggs” alerted on a vehicle being driven by, Franklin Banks, 46, from Dubois, IN.

After a search of the vehicle, Franklin Banks, was arrestedand incarcerated at the Washington County Jail on the charges of Possession of Methamphetamine and Maintaining a Common Nuisance.

On Friday evening, troopers were serving an arrest warrant on Wade Roberts, 53, from Henryville.

During the arrest Methamphetamine and Marijuana were located. Wade Roberts was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Marijuana. He was incarcerated at the Clark County Jail.

On Saturday evening, on Interstate #64 in Floyd County, a traffic stop was made on a white Dodge Charger.

During the traffic stop a strong odor of Marijuana was coming from the car. A subsequent search of the vehicle resulted in troopers locating over three pounds of Marijuana.

The driver, Jasmine N. Wood, 23, from Evansville, IN and the passengers, Arthur Gary Ray Carter, 20, from Evansville, IN and Dearrius Lavar Miller, 28, from Evansville, IN, were arrested and incarcerated at the Floyd County Jail on the charges of Dealing in Marijuana and Possession of Marijuana.
