Two Salem women were arrested on unrelated drug charges on April 27 involving cocaine and dealing
meth.


The arrested were made after investigations by the Washington County Drug Team, Salem Police and Washington County Sheriff’s Departments.
The first arrest was Cassie Jennings, 28, 204 Redbud Lane, Salem.
She was charged with a violation of parole warrant and possession of Cocaine or narcotic drugs, a Level 6 Felony.
Officers arrived at 109 Allen Court to execute an active arrest warrant for Jennings.
Officers were advised that Jennings had run from the house on foot.
Upon arrival, officers later located Jennings hiding inside the residence, and were able to place her in custody without further incident.
During the arrest, what is believed to be heroin was located in Jennings’ property.
After executing the first warrant, officers then attempted to execute a second arrest warrant for Jennifer Bowling.
Bowling, 26, 109 Redbud Lane, Salem, was located inside the residence and arrested on a warrant for Dealing Methamphetamine, a Level 5 Felony.
Other assisting agencies include the Washington County Prosecutors Office and the Department of Child Services.
