Rita Lee Harper, age 56 of Salem, passed away Monday, June 20, 2016 at 4:35 pm, in Salem Crossing. Born March 28, 1960 in Salem, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Edwin L. and Helen (Doyle) Amick. She was a former employee of Tecumseh Products in Salem and had been a resident of Washington County for most of her life. She married July 25, 1984 to William R. Harper, who passed away April 18, 2010. Survivors include: Daughter: Michelle Burger of Louisville and her father, Terry Burger; Brother: Justus Amick, Salem and granddaughter: Felicity Burger, Salem. She was preceded in death by her sister, Rebecca Eder and brother, Roy Lee Amick.
Funeral Service: 11:00 am Friday at Dawalt Funeral Home.
Visitation: 5 to 8 pm Thursday and after 10 am Friday.
Interment at Green Hill Cemetery Bedford, Indiana.
