Ace Hardware of Salem is proud to celebrate its twentieth anniversary. Located at 1312 W. Mulberry Street in Salem, the store is owned and operated by local entrepreneurs Bob Strange, Todd Hazelip, Terry Strange and Gary Strange.
“This marks an exciting milestone for us,” said Bob Strange, owner of Ace Hardware of Salem.
“We have been a part of the neighborhood for 20 years and want to thank our valued customers for their continued support. It’s been our honor to offer our customers a more personal kind of helpful when completing their home improvements, and we look forward to another 20 years of serving Washington County.”
Festivities begin at 7:30 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 12 with the first of 20, one-hour sales. The celebration continues Saturday, Aug. 13 with mystery coupons, a chance to win a $100 Ace gift card, a fundraiser for Jump Start and more one-hour sales.
WSLM will be doing a live remote from 10 to Noon and giving away prizes as well.
The 25,000 square foot store is packed with thousands of essential home maintenance products and supplies, including some of the most respected brand names and best-selling items to help people tend to lives and their homes.
Strange said the Salem True Value store was the second largest True Value operation in Indiana, tipping the scales at more than 26,000 square feet.
Key product offerings include paint, lawn and garden, hardware, electrical, plumbing, automotive and home décor, as well as niche products such as Bad Boy Mowers, Carhartt, Red Wing Shoes, Stihl and WeatherTech.
