There will be a VETERAN’S DAY PROGRAM for the public on the lawn of the Washington County Courthouse on Friday, Nov. 11 at 11a featuring the Bradie M. Shrum 5th Grade Choir.
There will also be a Veteran’s Day program at Bradie M. Shrum Elementary School at 9:30 for Grades 3-5 featuring the 5th Grade Choir.
According to Andrea Suvak, Elementary Music Teacher, “Our program, which showcases the 5th Grade Choir and several 5th grade student speakers, will include a variety of patriotic music, quotes, and tributes to veterans. All veterans, current members of the military and community members are welcome and encouraged to attend.”
Suvak noted that the program will run about 45-minute and will conclude in time to allow veterans to attend the Community Veterans Day program on the courthouse lawn at 11:00 a.m.
The 5th Grade Choir will be providing the musical salute at that program as well.
