Robert W. Dyke, age 77 of Villa Grove, Illinois passed away Sunday, January 1, 2017 at 4:28 pm, in his residence.
Born July 9, 1939 in Tuscola, Illinois, he was the son of the late James and Thelma (Long) Dyke.
He was a retired employee of Monks Wood Products in Jeffersonville and a former employee of the old Wellmans Woodworking in Campbellsburg and Century Vault and Grave Service in Pekin He attended the Salem Church of The Nazarene and was a member of the Salem Fraternal Order Of Eagles #3516.
Bob married December 1964 to Norma Sue (Heathcock) Dyke, who passed away April 25, 1997.
Survivors include: 1 Son Steve (Darla) Dyke, Villa Grove, Illinois; 5 Daughters: Elizabeth Danser, Pekin, Susan (Robert Orwick) Burnett, Corydon, Louise (Dennis) Stude, Madison, Wisconsin, April (Packy Carney) Severton, Mr. Olive, Illinois and Debra (Tommy) Keith, Leitchfield, Illinois; 4 Brothers: Gary Osterhoff, Destin, Florida, Earl Osterhoff, Tennessee and Pauli and Jody Dyke, Illinois and 2 Sisters: Shirley and Carolyn Dyke; Illinois.
He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 1 brother and 2 sisters.
Funeral Service: 11:00 am Thursday at Dawalt Funeral Home
Visitation: 9 am until the time of the service on Thursday.
Interment at Martinsburg Cemetery.
