Mable Marie Axsom, age 98 of Salem, Indiana passed away Sunday, September 10, 2017 at 11:05 am, in Meadow View Health Care Center.
Born April 9, 1919 in Heltonville, Indiana she was the daughter of the late Earl Ross Ramsay and Evah Lena (Kinser) Ramsay.
Mable was a homemaker, a member of the First Christian Church of Salem and had been a life resident of Washington and Lawrence Counties.
She married December 24, 1936 to Harry Victor Axsom, who passed away Nov. 15, 1990
Survivors include: Daughter: Marilyn Kay Kay of West Palm Beach, Florida; Son: Alan Ross Axsom, of Henryville, Indiana. 2 brothers: Harry Ramsay of Bedford, Indiana and Jim Ramsay of Pekin, Indiana. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 1 Son, David Gary Axsom 2 sisters Hazel Norman and Josephine Southern.
Visitation: 10 am to 1 pm Wednesday with a Funeral Service at 1:00 pm Wednesday at Dawalt Funeral Home with Pastor Sid Dye officiating.
Committal and interment will follow the funeral at Bunker Hill Cemetery near Salem.
