Medicare’s Open Enrollment is upon us again, from October 15 Through December 7.
Individuals, currently enrolled in a Medicare Advantage or Prescription Plan, should be
receiving notices from your current provider about your plan coverage for 2018. If your plan is changing, you should make sure your plan will still meet your needs for the following year.
If you’re satisfied that your current plan will meet your needs for next year and it’s still being offered, you don’t need to do anything, said Greg Tanner of Older American’s Services.
However, for those whose plan doesn’t meet their needs, SHIP Counselors will be available to help individuals with enrollments at Marcy’s Kitchen at 101 Indiana Ave., English, Indiana on October 31, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Please bring a list of your medications and your Medicare card.
