The Washington County Sheriff’s Department is looking for the person or person who stole construction signs on State Road 135.
The State Highway Department was working on a section of State Road 135 south on Thursday and stopped working around 5 pm. Eight construction signs were left along the west edge of the roadway stretching from Vincennes Trail to about Skylight Road. The state workers returned to work Friday morning around 6:30 am and discovered that someone had taken all eight signs.
