Purdue Extension – Washington County invites any small ruminant producer interested in learning more about the importance of breeding soundness evaluation of rams and bucks before each breeding season to participate in a program presented by veterinarians, Dr. Jerry Rusch and Dr. Ellen Burcham from Spring Mill Veterinary Service in Mitchell, IN.
The program is Tuesday, May 18 beginning at 6:00 pm at the Washington County Fairgrounds (118 Fair St., Salem).
Dr. Rusch and Dr. Burcham will cover the basics of breeding soundness and demonstrate the process of animal and semen evaluation to determine the breeding soundness of rams and bucks.
