William “Bill” C. Lincks, age 83, of Salem, passed away Monday, May 24 in Salem.
Mr. Lincks was born October 4, 1937 in London, Kentucky the son of John and Gladys Reed Lincks.
He was a retired employee of Childcraft Industries. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Salem and was an Army veteran.
Bill is survived by his wife: Judy Pollock Lincks. They were married on June 19, 1964. He is also survived by one son: Michael Lincks of Salem, two brothers: Ronald Lee Lincks of Floyd Knobs and David Lincks of Palmyra, and two sisters: Daisy Pike of Greenville and Patty Zimmerman of Florida.
He was preceded in death by six brothers: Donald, John, Doug, Kenny Ray, Charlie and Russ Lincks, a sister: Nancy Schmidt and his parents.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 AM at Weathers Funeral Home with Reverend Dr. Steve Gorman officiating.
Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery with military honors.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-8 PM and Thursday from 9 AM-time of service.
