Orville Blevins, Jr., age 78 of Salem, passed away Monday, July 26, 2021, in the U of L – Jewish Campus.
Born April 7, 1943, in Salem, Indiana, he was the son of the late Orville Blevins Sr. and Edith (Melton) Blevins.
He was a retired truck driver and served in the Armed Forces in the U. S. Army. He had been a life resident of Washington County and was a member of the Salem American Legion Cecil Grimes Post #41 and the Salem V.F.W. Post #6636.
Survivors include 1 Son: David Blevins of Salem; 3 Daughters: Lisa (Mark) Davidson and Amber (Scott) Lee of Salem and Tina Blevins of Ohio; 1 Stepson: William Warren of Northpoint, Florida; 3 Sisters: Betty Potts, Margaret Hawes, and Robin (Richard) Deaton, all of Salem; 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by 5 brothers.
Visitation: 4 to 8 pm Friday at Dawalt Funeral Home.
Interment will be at a later date in Crown Hill Cemetery.
