Hilbert Harry Huston, Jr., age 66 of Salem, Indiana, passed away Sunday, Sept. 12, 2021 in St. Vincent Salem Hospital.
Born October 20, 1954 in Memphis, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Hilbert Harry Huston Sr. and Louise (Smith) Huston.
He was a resident of Washington County since 1996 and was a retired Maintenance Technician. He enjoyed woodworking and computers and was the Logistics Coordinator
of the Yakkers River Squad.
On June 21, 1997 he married Darla Jean (Houston) Huston.
Survivors include:
Wife: Darla Jean (Houston) Huston
Son: Kip Huston of Salem, Indiana;
Son: Todd Lester (Terrie) of Salem, Indiana;
Daughter: Heather Jean (Sean) Reynolds of Salem, Indiana;
Brother: Lance Teagarden (Peggy) of Corydon, Indiana;
Brother: Bill Huston (Diana) of Georgetown, Indiana.
He is also survived by 5 grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Brian Belcher.
Visitation: 6 to 9 pm Wednesday and after 11 am Thursday at Dawalt Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: 1:00 pm Thursday at Dawalt Funeral Home with Pastor Sid Dye officiating.
The Family requests masks be worn during the services.
Interment will follow the service at Crown Hill Cemetery with full
military honors.
A repast will follow at the Huston home after the conclusion of funeral services. The Family asks you to bring a side dish, your own drinks, and lawn chairs.
The meat will be provided.
