Ervin Wayne Day, age 75 of Salem, Indiana passed away Monday, February 14, 2022, at 3:05 am, in his residence.
Born May 23, 1946, in Salem, Indiana, he was the son of the late Harold F. Day and Berniece (Walker) Day.
Life resident of Washington County and a 1964 Graduate of Salem High School. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Salem and a member with the Indiana National Guard.
On December 17,1966 he married Wanda Jane (Colglazier) Day, who survives.
Ervin was the owner of The Day Company Realtors & Auctioneers and a lifelong farmer.
He was also a member of the: Salem Lions Club, Past President of the Washington County Board of Realtors, member of Southern Indiana Realtors Association, Washington County Plan Commission, volunteer of 50 years with the 4-H Livestock Auction & many other accreditations.

Emma Day of Salem, Indiana;

Alexander Sparks of Avon, Indiana;
Nicholas Claywell of Salem, Indiana;
Chloe Day of Salem, Indiana.
Great granddaughter: Eleanor Easterlin of Tampa Bay, FL.
He was preceded in death by 1 son Steven Wayne Day.
Visitation: 4 to 8 pm Friday and 10 am to 2 pm Saturday at Dawalt Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: 2:00 pm Saturday at Dawalt Funeral Home with Matt Gorman officiating.
Interment at Crown Hill Cemetery
