Indiana Department of Transportation maintenance crews plan to close lanes on I-65 starting next week to complete bridge repairs in Scott and Jackson Counties.
Starting on or after Monday, May 23, single-lane closures will be in place at the following locations between MM 34 and MM 50:
I-65 SB near MM 34: Barrier wall repair
I-65 SB near MM 48: Bridge approach repair
I-65 NB near MM 49: Deck patching and joint repair
Motorists can expect lane closures from approximately 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday through Thursday. Work is scheduled to be complete by early June.
Lane closures will be postponed if needed due to inclement weather.
INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, avoid distractions, and consider worker safety when traveling through active work zones.
