Larry R. McIntyre, 74, of Milltown, Indiana died on March 1, 2023 at his residence. Larry was born on November 2, 1948 in Carrollton, Kentucky to the late Leslie and Mamie (Welch) McIntyre.
Larry was a retired foreman with the gas division of Louisville Gas and Electric (LG & E) and a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in New Albany, Indiana.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Don McIntyre; twin sisters, Lois Elaine and Joyce Ilene McIntyre; and a daughter-in-law, Jennifer McIntyre.
Larry is survived by his wife Patricia A. (Bohne) McIntyre; son Keith McIntyre; daughters Amanda Feeler (Brandon) and Shawn Hanifen (Tim); brothers Doug McIntyre (Cindy), Phil McIntyre (Tammie), Denny McIntyre (Angela), Randy McIntyre (Lisa), Danny McIntyre (Paula); 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
The funeral mass will be on Monday, March 6, 2023 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 415 E. 8th Street, New Albany, Indiana 47150. Interment will follow in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in New Albany, Indiana.
Visitation will be on Sunday, March 5, 2023 from 3-8 pm and 8:00 am until 9:00 am on Monday, all at the Brown-Newkirk Funeral Home, 306 Spring Street, Milltown, Indiana.
Friar Mark Weaver will officiate the funeral mass.
