Virginia Louise Durbin, age 82 of Salem, Indiana passed away Thursday, July 11, 2024 at 4:41 pm, in Baptist Health Louisville.
Born December 12, 1941 in Salem, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Nellie (Wyse) Richardson.
She was a retired employee of Jeans Extrusions, worked on the farm with her husband and raised her three heathens. She was a member of Conway Community Church, had been a life resident of Washington County and was a graduate of Salem High School class of 1958. After graduation she would marry James Arthur Durbin.
Survivors include: Son: Barry D. (Gina) Durbin of Salem, Indiana; Son:
Greg (Michelle) Durbin of Salem, Indiana; Son: Kevin (Becky) Durbin of Salem, Indiana; Brother: Donnie (Vicki) Nelson of Salem, Indiana; Brother: Gary Nelson of Salem, Indiana. She has many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by Husband: James Arthur Durbin: Her sister Royetta Nalley and her brother Terry Nelson.
Visitation hours will be from 4 to 8 pm Monday and 9 to 11 am Tuesday. Funeral Service: 11:00 am Tuesday July 16th at Dawalt Funeral Home.
Interment will take place at Crown Hill Cemetery in Salem.
