Brandon Goodhue, age 35, of Pekin, passed away Saturday, September 12, 2026 at Schneck Medical Center. Born April 11, 1991, he was the son of David Goodhue and Denise Saling.
Brandon was a machine leader at MPP; member of the Army National Guard; member of Graceland Baptist Church; and lifetime member of the NRA.
He is survived by his parents: David Goodhue, Denise Saling, and Tom Schocke (Shelley); wife: Anissa Goodhue; 5 children: Alexa Goodhue, Hunter Goodhue, Piper Goodhue, Christian Goodhue, and Mollie Goodhue; 3 brothers: Branson Schocke, Antonio Goodhue, and Major Goodhue; 5 sisters: Harmony Goodhue, Joleen Monaghan, Tayvian Altic, Tamya Altic, and Chloe Martin; and grandmothers: Joan Schocke and Dominga Goodhue.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Isabella Goodhue; sister, Emily Schocke; grandfathers: Harold Eiler, Joe Goodhue, Frank Bowling and Mickey Schocke; and grandmother: Brenda Eiler.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 19, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Chapel & Celebration Center. Visitation will be held Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Burial to follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery.
