Charles Michael Blevins, age 82, of Hardinsburg, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2026 at his residence. Born December 29, 1943 in Jeffersonville, he was the son of the late Carl Blevins and Elva (Schwinger) Blevins. He was married to Jenny Rose Blevins and Linda Kay Elliott, both of whom also preceded him in death.
Charles was a retired heavy equipment operator and farmer; he was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of Hardinsburg Christian Church where he served as elder for many years.
He is survived by 3 children: Jeffrey Michael Blevins, Brian Lee Blevins (Paula), and Angela Michele Koressel; 1 stepson: John Holmes; 2 brothers: Jim Blevins and Craig Blevins; 7 grandchildren: Marlaina Wildes, Blaine Blevins, Landon Blevins, Julie Titus, Erika Koressel, Jennifer Koressel, and Tiffany Koressel; and 3 great grandchildren: Montana Snow Songsirijit, Teddy Titus, and Harmony Titus.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Elva Blevins; wives, Jenny Blevins and Linda Elliott; 2 brothers: Gene Blevins and Joe Blevins; 2 sisters: Julie Chesson and Nancy Blevins; 1 stepson: Jacki Hall; and 1 grandson: Garrett Blevins.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Hardinsburg Christian Church located at 196 S. Maple Street, Hardinsburg, Indiana 47125; visitation will be held Monday, April 27, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at the church.
