Robert “Keith” Kirkland age 59 of Charlestown, passed away May 21, 2026 at Norton Clark Hospital.
Mr. Kirkland was born May 2, 1967 the son of Leland Edward Kirkland and Patricia Marie Campbell Heckwolf. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and tinkering with his trucks.
Mr. Kirkland is survived by his long time companion, Kimberly O’Brien. He is also survived by his step-son, Ted O’Brien (Kelci) of New Albany, Indiana, his daughter, Paige Kirkland (George Hoskins) of Salem, Indiana, and step-daughter, Leah Sweeney of Sellersburg, Indiana, his grandchildren, Amara Hoskins, Keegan Hoskins, Elliana Hoskins, Alice Cooksey, Audrey and Caileigh O’Brien. He is also survived by his brothers, Scott Kirkland (Kristy) of Meridianville, Alabama, and Michael Weaver (Tammy) of St. Petersburg, Florida.
Mr. Kirkland is preceded in death by his parents.
Cremation was chosen, there will not be a service at this time.
