Jenny Jo Jeffries, 44, of Marengo, Indiana died on March 7, 2023 at Norton Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.  She was born on September 5, 1978 in Evansville, Indiana to Keith A. and Lillie (Newton) Jeffries and they survive.

Jenny was a homemaker.  She had a big heart with lots of love and was a devoted wife, mother, and an amazing sister.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother Nancy Newton and uncle Bobby Phillips.

She is survived by her parents; husband, Wayne D. McGuire; daughter, Allie C. Laswell; grandchildren, Oaklyn Carlisle and ZaRiaha Murphy; brother, Keith “Bub” Jeffries (Ashley); sisters, Joni Wright and Tracy Reynolds; niece, Olivia Wright and nephew, Brody Jeffries.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at 11:30 am at the Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana.  Interment will follow in the Marengo Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Friday, March 10, 2023 from 4-8 pm and after 10:00 am until time of the service at 11:30 am on Saturday, all at the funeral home.

Bro. Steve Lock will officiate the service.

Patricia “Patty” Eilleen Brockman, 57, passed away on March 4, 2023, at her residence in Paoli, Indiana. She was born on March 3, 1966, to Delmus and Wilma Patty in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. At three months old, David and Mary Turner adopted Patty. Patty married Mark Brockman, and he preceded her in death.

Patty was preceded in death by her husband, parents, 1-brother, Carl David Turner, and 1-sister, Mary Jo Burns.

Patty had a passion for going to races and supporting  Independent Wrestling. She was always happy, giving, and fun. Patty loved spending time with her grandchildren, family, and friends.

Survivors Include:

Son:Joshua (Lakasia) Turner Paoli, Indiana

Sisters:Nancy Puckett Illinois. Teresa Baker Illinois

Grandchildren:

Taylana, Ava, Delilah, & Meredith Turner, of Paoli, Indiana.

Cremation was chosen. A celebration of life will be held at a later date, where she will lay to rest in the Smith Cemetery in Belle Rive, Illinois.

Douglas W. Brown, age 63 of Salem, Indiana passed away Wednesday, March
8, 2023 at 9:35 pm, in his residence.

Born February 12, 1960 in Salem,.Indiana, he was the son of Pete D. Brown and Doris P. (Webb) Brown.
  

A life resident of Washington County and was a 1978 graduate of Salem
High School before attending Indiana University Southeast to study
Physical Therapy.

On October 30, 1982 he married Wanda Sue (Brewer) Brown, who survives.
He retired after 29 years from GKN in Salem and was a member of the
Salem Moose Lodge #2380, the NRA and was a state champion with Rim Fire
Rifle Association and serviced as a Vice President of the Livonia
Conservation Club.

Survivors include:
Wife: Wanda Sue (Brewer) Brown
Sister: Denise (Frank) Newkirk of Salem, Indiana;
Adopted daughter, Lynn Bell of Palmyra, Indiana;
Grandsons, A.J. and Cash Stucky of Palmyra, Indiana;
Extended Family Lori and Kyle Burman of Salem, Indiana.
He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 4 to 8 pm Monday  and 9 to 11 am Tuesday at Dawalt Funeral Home

Timmy Lynn Martin, age 58 of Salem, Indiana passed away Wednesday, March
8, 2023 at 11:30 am, in Meadow View Health & Rehabilitation in Salem.

Born June 5, 1964 in New Albany, Indiana, he was the son of Kelly Martin
Jr. and Joyce Darlene (Speck) Martin.

He was a life resident of Washington and Floyd Counties, a graduate of
Floyd Central High School and was a retired drywall Installer.

Survivors include:
Mother: Joyce Darlene Martin of Salem, Indiana;
Daughter: Laken Burres of New Albany, Indiana.
Brother: Christopher T. (Alie) Martin of Salem, Indiana;
Sister: Kelly Jo (Chris) Barnett of Arkansas;

He was preceded in death by his father.
