McBride Gets 200th Victory in 56-34 Win at Paoli

0

Eastern’s Lady Musketeers played spoiler to the Lady Rams senior night, with a 56-34 that also delivered Coach Mike McBride’s 200th win.

The ladies and fans showed their appreciation by planning a celebration on the court at the conclusion of the game.

Kendra Sill knocked down three 3 point shots in the first quarter to put the Musketeers up. All of the first-half points came from behind the arc, or the free-throw line.

The second half was a different game for the Musketeers. They pounded the ball in the paint where Kyia Mckinley added 11 and Lily Crumpton had 4. The Rams had no answer for the duo in the paint.

Sill finished the game with 17 points shooting 5 for 7 from behind the arc. Caylee Graves and Shelby Casey had 11.

The Lady Musketeers are 14-8 in regular season play this season and set at 4-5 in the Mid Southern Conference, tied for fourth place with Scottsburg.

The ladies will have their last regular-season game Thursday at Henryville.

It will be broadcast live on WSLM 1220 AM beginning with the pre-game show about 7:15p with Wes Drury, Adam Bagshaw, and Mikie Batt.
