Norfolk Southern Railroad plans to close State Road 111 later this month for railroad repairs in New Albany.

On or after Monday, April 27, S.R. 111 will close to traffic between Corydon Pike and Scott Street located just under one mile west of I-64. The closure is expected to take up to five days, weather permitting. During the closure, motorists should use the official detour route which follows I-64 to S.R. 62 to S.R. 11 to S.R. 211 back to S.R. 111.

INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution and avoid distractions in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
