Jared Abram Jones, age 47, of Franklin, KY, passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 in Simpson Co. He was born on May 7, 1978 in Salem, IN. Jared attended Cross Point Church and worked in construction. He enjoyed fishing and riding motorcycles. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Irvin L. and A. Lois Campbell, Ray and Elizabeth Jones, Harold and Barbara Reeves and Clarence and Sonia Rose.
He is survived by one daughter Hannah E. Jones; one granddaughter Elizabeth C. Lancaster; parents Kyle Warman (Steven), Timmy Jones (Vicky) and Gregory Rose; two brothers Quentin L. Jones (Melissa) and Taylan M. Jones (Kait Foree); one nephew, Abram and two nieces, Maggie and Emma. His longtime companion, Brandy Grant and her children Paizley, Jacie and Sawyer.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at 2:00pm CST at Smith Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Embry officiating. Burial will follow in the Grant Phelps Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Smith Funeral Home, 403 N. Main St., Morgantown, KY 42261 on Saturday, April 25 from 11:00am CST until 2:00pm CST.
